About Dr. Quill:

Dr. Kathleen Ann Quill is the Director of the Autism Institute, an agency that provides consultation, professional development, and training to educators. She lectures internationally to share her insights about the educational needs of children with autism.

Educated at John Hopkins University and Boston University, Kathleen received her doctorate in Applied Psycholinguistics and has conducted applied research on language, communication, and social development in autism. She has taught at University of Massachusetts, Lesley College, and Emerson College. She has authored numerous publications, is the editor of the popular book Teaching Children with Autism: Strategies to enhance communication and socialization (Delmar Publishers, 1995), and author of the bestseller DO-WATCH-LISTEN-SAY: Social and communication intervention for children with autism (Brookes Publishing, 2000).
