AutismPro was developed by Virtual Expert Clinics, Inc. a Canadian company based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, with offices and staff in Boston, Massachusetts and Toronto, Ontario.
Since November of 2004, Virtual Expert Clinics has been developing a revolutionary approach to providing services to children with special needs through a first-of-kind blend of clinical expertise, expert systems programming, and consulting.
Virtual Expert Clinics employs over 20 people, with solid experience in autism programming, training, project management and client services.

VEC's president and founder Cynthia Howroyd has assembled a Professional Advisory Board consisting of world leaders in the field of autism such as Dr. Kathleen Ann Quill of the Autism Institute in Boston, Brenda Smith-Myles of the University of Kansas, Dr. Cathy Pratt of the Autism Society of America and Dr. Pamela Wolfberg of the Autism Institute at San Francisco State University.
